Patti is running for councillor for the second time, and she is certainly not a quitter. She wants to thank those that voted for her last election. She will continue to listen to the needs of the citizens of ACW and be honest, accessible and transparent because it is what she believes a councillor should be. And when we do our job well everyone benefits!
She has volunteered with many organizations: Huron Hospice, IODE Goderich, The Look Good Feel Better Program, Crime Stoppers, Huron County Poultry Club, Auburn & Goderich Horticultural Society. And happy to help our young people whether it be mentoring, taking on an apprentice, a co-op placement or providing a learning experience for their volunteer hours. Patti is always up for that.
Her work as a hairstylist for over 40 years has given Patti the time to develop her listening skills; building trust and having open and honest dialogue with everyday citizens is not an experience many careers provide. But that lived experience of public service sets her apart from the other candidates. However all the candidates are to be commended and she wishes them well as it is never easy to put yourself in the public eye.
If elected Patti would like the first meeting to be held in a building, perhaps the Dungannon community center where many citizens can attend and see their elected officials be sworn in.

If elected it will be an honour to work hard for all the citizens and in four years Patti hopes to work alongside our new council and focus on issues that are unresolved, create an exceptional Growth & Servicing Master Plan and continue to move this municipality toward citizen's feeling well represented.
