ACLA is sponsoring an all-candidates meeting on September 2, 7-9pm, in the basement of the Kingsbridge Centre. Owners of lakefront-area properties are encouraged to attend. Previous Councils have initiated by-laws addressing issues such as short-term rentals, shoreline tree protection, and septic inspections, and have worked closely with the local Conservation Authority. All of these are of particular relevance to the interests of ACW's seasonal and year-round lakefront residents. This is your opportunity to hear and question the candidates.

Of the 15, only Evan Hickey, Bill Vanstone, and Glen McNeil served on the previous Council, ensuring that there will definitely be a change of leadership in ACW.
